|This is no ordinary opal More than any other opal, the Ethiopian variety has proved to be the most diverse in its coloring. Known as ‘play-of-color,’ the entire rainbow can be viewed within the walls of these gems. As if the coloring wasn’t impressive enough, Ethiopian opal is also tough. The Bareeda (an Oromo word meaning “;beauty”;) set includes this necklace that showcases the fabled stone, set in rose gold-finished sterling silver and framed with lab-created DiamondAura.
